We are not going to summarize someone else’s work. Go read the piece. What we can do is tell you what the pistol is, so you know what you are looking at.
The Apache Commander is a mid-weight double-stack 1911 chambered in 9x19mm, built at Commander length for people who actually carry one. The barrel is 4.1 inches of 416R stainless with a 1:16, 6R twist. The frame is 17-4 PH stainless, the slide is 416R, and the grip module is a Kevlar and carbon fiber composite. Dry, with no magazine and no optic, it weighs 33.2 ounces. At 7.9 inches long, 1.6 wide and 6.2 tall, it lands between a full-size range gun and something you would wear all day.
The single-action trigger is tuned rather than lightened: a crisp, predictable break that does not get nervous when you do. The safety is fully ambidextrous. The recoil system is a 14-pound setup. It is offered in black or flat dark earth.
On paper, none of that is exotic. The difference is in how the parts are fitted to one another, and a spec sheet has never once shown anyone that. Which is exactly why coverage we did not write carries more weight than anything we could say about our own pistol.
