Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage 3D parametric and direct models and assemblies (SolidWorks preferred), using relationships/parameters and deriving 2D drawings from 3D models
  • Apply GD&T to models, assemblies, and drawings for manufacturing
  • Program and optimize multi-axis CNC toolpaths (SolidCam, MasterCam, Esprit, or equivalent) for milling, turning, and simultaneous multi-axis machining
  • Edit and troubleshoot G-code on Okuma and Fanuc controllers
  • Design fixtures and workholding solutions to support high-volume production
  • Develop probing cycles, macros, and in-process inspection routines for tools and workpieces
  • Collaborate with machining and assembly teams to troubleshoot production issues
  • Support new product development from concept through production
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, throughput, and part quality
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality) to resolve design and manufacturing challenges

Build the foundation.

Curtis shares the experiences and influences that helped shape his journey, from his time serving in the Army to the firearms and the inspiration he found in his grandfather’s guns.

From our new facility to our manufacturing processes and commitment to quality, Curtis talks about what it means to build a strong foundation from the ground up—and why the people behind the products matter just as much as the products themselves.

Get to know Curtis, hear his story, and take a look inside the team working to define the next chapter of Watchtower Defense.

New guns doesn't necessarily mean more innovation.

Vaelon was built with a different question in mind:

What could we do differently?

The answer seemed simple: bring more control, to our systems, QC processes, every aspect of the design, and ultimately to the shooter.

The firearm depicted is a prototype model; The Vaelon is still in development but will be hitting dealers soon. Stay tuned.
